Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The first part of the ECFS eLearning programme on CF is intended for members of the multidisciplinary team beginning in CF and available on this website. After completion of the first part, the learner:
- will have acquired the main knowledge necessary to begin taking care of patients with CF: cause and physiopathology of CF, epidemiology, main clinical features, principles of treatment
- will be able to assist a CF specialist and to fully benefit from a training in a CF centre

5 | Principles of CF care (1): general and respiratory
| – Centred care with a multi-disciplinary team – follow-up: frequency and evaluation – Airway clearance techniques and therapies – Treatment of pulmonary exacerbations – Eradication of Pseudomonas aeruginosa – Management of chronic Pa colonization – Place of new therapies

6 | Principles of CF care (2): nutrition, liver and diabetes
