eLearning programme on cystic fibrosis (CF)
The ECFS has developed an e-learning education programme on cystic fibrosis (CF).

The programme is intended for all caregivers in CF from allied-health professionals to medical doctors, at all stages of care and knowledge on CF, either beginning to care about patients with CF or seeking knowledge and guidance on a specific topic. The programme consists of three parts, each part designed to build on the knowledge acquired in the previous parts:
1. Cystic fibrosis for beginners
2. More about CF
3. Becoming a CF clinical expert: How to manage…
Care givers beginning in CF will find in the first and second parts of the programme the broad knowledge they need to begin working in the CF field. Experienced clinicians who encounter a very specific situation may learn in the third part the main guidelines for care and treatment of this situation.
The first part of the ECFS eLearning programme on CF is intended for members of the multidisciplinary team beginning in CF, and available on this website. After completion of the first part, the learner:
– will have acquired the main knowledge necessary to begin taking care of patients with CF: cause and physiopathology of CF, epidemiology, main clinical features, principles of treatment
– will be able to assist a CF specialist and to fully benefit from a training in a CF centre
